I was born and raised in Memphis Tennessee. I am a graduate of Fairley High School home of the Bulldogs, and I studied Criminal Justice at Christian Brothers University. I later joined the correctional team with the Shelby County Department of Correctional as an officer, and later joined the City of Memphis Police Department as a Police Service Tech, Officer, Investigator, Assistant POST Coordinator and now serve as a Sergeant with the Department with over 20 years of service. I served the community in which I patrolled with great pride, compassion, and always finding ways to make a different in the lives I came in contact with.  I am an active member of Greater Corinthian Church where I serves as the Assistant Pastor under the great leadership of Pastor J.T. Walker. I am currently earning a Bachelor Degree in Business. I am married with two amazing sons, a host of grandchildren and a great granddaughter . I have participated in the Blanket Drive for the homeless Veterans, Food Drive, and the Christmas Toy Drive with The City of Memphis and a 20-year contributor with the United Way Foundation. I  am dedicated and committed to making a great impact and a positive change in the Veterans Community.
